Roger is a recently retired Search and Rescue dog who lives with his best friends: two little girls named Nellie and Winnie. They have adventures and along the way, Roger teaches everyone about first aid, health, and medicine. In Episode 1, the whole neighborhood celebrates Roger's retirement with a barbecue. An emergency develops and Roger teaches everyone about abdominal thrusts, also known as the Heimlich Maneuver.

 

Think about it: there aren’t any kids’ books or shows that teach kids about first aid. We’re hoping to create an entire series in which Roger teaches a new first aid skill in every story. We hope you enjoy the stories, and we hope you learn something, too!

 

Every story in the “Roger To The Rescue!” series is dedicated in loving memory to our dear friend, Roger, who was a real-life hero to so many.

 

“Roger To The Rescue!” is currently only available on Kindle, but once we publish enough stories to meet Amazon’s minimum page requirement, we’ll publish a compilation of stories in paperback. The dream is to maybe one day have a cartoon show, but we’ll see.
